My Child the Thumb Sucker

Nikki, we’re glad you found comfort in reading what Dr. Greene has to say about thumb sucking. Many parents feel comfortable with their child being labeled a “thumb sucker”, but what could be more natural than young babies learning to sooth themselves with the first thing at hand (pun intended) that fit into their mouths and is shaped somewhat like a nipple? And as an extra bonus, it doesn’t fall to the floor every few minutes requiring mom to pick it up and wash it off while baby cries.

Thanks Nikki for the kind comments on your blog about our site!

    “Hey MsGreene,
Thanks for the link on DrGreene’s site! More importantly thanks for the information! Being a first time Mom definitely sets you up to spend most of your day wondering what the hell your doing, having a place where you can find the answers to your questions and quickly is a life saver! “
