Toxic Synovitis

The DrGreene team sends a big welcome to Shawn, the newest member of Rebecca and Mike’s family. I bet Connor and Heather are happy to have their little brother home at last.

I’m glad Connor recovered quickly from his recent bout with Toxic Synovitis. This form of arthritis is most common in boys ages 3-10. As you discovered, the pain in their hip, thigh or knee usually disappears completely within a few days with no lasting limp or other problems.
