Breastfeeding and Alcohol

Rob, thanks for bringing up the old wives’ tale that drinking beer increases breast milk production. As you noted, Dr. Greene’s review of recent studies says it’s not true. Mothers are sometimes tempted to try anything when they’re struggling with breastfeeding, and we understand how overwhelmed new parents can feel when difficulties arise.
