Ouch! Painful Mouths for Little Babes

Crystal, congratulations on the recent arrival of little Eli! I’m sure you’ll be very busy with your new one and little Luke, who sounds like he had a rough bout with mouth blisters. If he indeed had herpangina, which is a viral infection that causes painful mouth ulcers, it’ll take 3-6 days for him to feel 100 percent. We hope he’s feeling back to normal by now.

We also saw that Marie’s little girl, McKenleigh, was also sick with herpangina, and Heather’s Olivia, too! Here at DrGreene.com, our article on herpangina is one of our most popular resources. Kids with herpangina can get scary fevers, might stop eating and feel really rotten. But it usually goes away within a few days.

Hope everyone is feeling better!
